I have been reading The Hindu for the last five year and really love the standard of English used. My favorite sections of this paper is its editorial section and believe me without going through that section I didn’t feel like reading paper that day.

However, it’s very disappointing to say that the quality of news in the paper is deteriorating each day and the standard is not the same which had been a year ago. Sometime you will find the paper very funny and sometime it will be very serious.

The newspaper which was once known for its unbiased, authentic and quality news has not remained the same. I am really concerned about the standard of the newspaper as it is one of the important English reading materials for the students aspiring for MBA exams like Cat, XAT etc.

Sometimes the news given by the paper also appears to be not cent percent correct and thus reliability in the paper is reducing.

I , once was a proud, Hindu reader and wish for the improvement of the paper. I would request its editor to bring it back the same standard for which it was known decades ago.
