Nissan Sunny (2011) price in India may start from 8 Lakh

Car maker Nissan has launched a mid size sedan called SUNNY in India today and the starting price is expected to remain within Rs.8 Lakh to Rs.10 Lakh range. Nissan SUNNY is scheduled to hit the Indian roads by Diwali of 2011.
Although Nissan Motor India has confirmed that the new car is based on their popular V-platform (the one used in Nissan Micra, one of the hot-selling Nissan hatchbacks in India), the new car is not the “Sedan version” of the Micra. The new car will feature a 1.5 litre petrol engine and will come with all popular features.
SUNNY is expected to be sold in over 170 countries world-wide. But Nissan has not yet declared an official date for releasing the vehicle into the market.
