Best Android Phones in India with Price (2011)
Posted in Consumer Blog by Rahul_Singhai on 31.07.2011
After posting an article on 10 Cheapest Android phones in India, I wanted to post about some of the best Android Phones that I have come across while doing my research. When I say “Best” the meaning may differ from person to person but my criteria for selection includes processing speed, screen resolution, touch sensitivity, image and video quality.
So, here are some of the best Android Phones in India (top 3 with price) as on July 31, 2011.
1. Samsung Galaxy S II (I9100) – Price Rs.30500
With 1G RAM, 16GB internal memory and 8MP autofocus flash camera running on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) with 16M colors and Super AMOLED Plus touchscreen, this mobile phone is surely a SUPERphone.
The Samsung Galaxy S II comes with Dual-core 1.2GHz ARM Cortex-A9 proccessor (even my netbook don’t have a dual core processor!) with tons of in-built features.
Lookwise, the mobile looks similar to its predecessor, Samsung Galaxy S but the screen is bigger and more sensitive. Galaxy S II comes with a 480 x 800 pixels and 4.3 inches screen (Dimensions: 125.3 x 66.1 x 8.5 mm).
Just go for a demo and you will love it.
2. LG Optimus 2X (P990) – Price Rs.25300
The LG Optimus 2x is powered by Android 2.2 (Froyo) and run on a 512MB RAM Dual-core 1GHz ARM Cortex-A9 proccessor and Tegra 2 AP20H chipset. It features a 8 MP primary camera with autofocus and LED flash.
Like most other LG phones, it comes with tons of features. Screen resolution is 480 x 800 pixels with a 4.0 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display (Dimensions: 123.9 x 63.2 x 10.9 mm).
I particularly like it because of the price difference. But there are many other features that you may consider before setting on to this one.
A small picture attached here for your preview. I am sure you will like what you see.
3. Motorola ATRIX – Price Rs.32000
Next in my list of top SUPERphones is the Motorola ATRIX which is powered by 1 GB RAM Dual-core 1GHz ARM Cortex-A9 proccessor. It runs on Android 2.2 (Froyo). Processor, CPU and Chipset are similar to that of LG Optimus 2x except that this has a 1GM RAM integrated. It features a 5 MP autofocus LED flash camera and supports all advance features of a mobile phone.
Dimensions are 117.8 x 63.5 x 11 mm and it has 540 x 960 pixels, 4.0 inches TFT capacitive touchscreen display.
Although Motorola has not been making up properly with the competitors for the past couple of years, it is expected to come back with this amazing Android phone.
You may check out video demos of the phone on video streaming sites.
All these phones are supercool. But note the price difference of 5K for the LG Optimus 2X. If 5k savings in your pocket is simply awesome, you may opt for it. But if you are ready to throw in that 5k, it is just a matter of your choice as all of them are simply awesome.
